Today was my day off of ministry. And it was my favorite day of all since I got here. I spent my day with my host contact, Ashley, who I’ve spoken of on this page before. HI EVERYONE! Wow!! I seriously cannot believe it’s almost been 3 weeks since we’ve been here in Guatemala. Time has absolutely flown by, and we all have seen Jesus in so many different ways. It’s incredible. He shows up everywhere- from playing with the children in the streets, dodging tuk tuks and motorcycles, to singing in family homes, and having meals with my team. I’m able to look into my teammates eyes and find Jesus looking back at me, full of grace and love. One of the greatest things as a leader is to see your team members jumping into the unknown with full hearts and trusting that they are going to be making an impact where they are. Guatemala team 1 is in Antigua this month partnering with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) and the various ministries they are apart of. This month will be full of evangelism, food distribution to the homeless, children’s ministry, and so much more. Still I am most excited about the growth that is coming for my team. The team has arrived safely in Guatemala! They are currently with their host and getting settled into their housing for the summer.    The team will spend the coming days getting introduced to their ministry, coming to know the culture, and finding a routine for the summer ahead.  They will be finding internet in the next couple of days so that they can communicate home and share more about what their days and weeks will look like.  Until then, we wanted to let you know that all is well.  Hope that you’re as excited to follow along with their adventure as we are!
