God Restores Hope

After our first day doing ministry, I felt hopeless. The enemy was telling me lies. For ministry, we traveled to an area where there were many prostitutes. There are trafficked women and children roaming the streets begging for money. There were also cabin bars all over, the place that people go to eat and get drunk. The waitresses serve the food and drinks while selling themselves in return. Whenever the men want, they take the women into the cabins and do as they please. At first, we went on a prayer walk. We prayed for the people and prayed that the Lord would lead us where he desired...

I Didn’t Want to be Here

I’m so stubborn and such a home body. When I first felt called to this trip, I shut it down. Me? In Asia? For a whole month? No way. I didn’t want to be there. I didn’t want to spend a month out of my comfort zone, out of my home, away from my friends and family. But, God’s calling quickly took over, and here I am. Trusting in His Plan

Proverbs 3:5-6  “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him and he will make your path straight.” All my life I have heard this verse and fully believed that I was trusting in the Lord with all my heart. Growing up, I believed that I was fearless and that was the same thing as trusting the Lord. Until now, I did not understand what trusting in the Lord looked like. The Lord has revealed to me that trusting in him is giving your whole life and being to him. Saying you trust in the Lord and actually trusting...
