Something Wild

While in India if I ever have a desire to have decent WiFi I need to go to my new favorite coffee shop called Delize. I have come so often with my team that they now easily recognize us and smile. It’s in moments like these where I wish that I spoke more Telegu(the common language). For the most part I am able to converse with their broken English, or my even more appalling grumble of syllables I would like to call Telegu. Though there does come moments when I wish I could simply understand, or have more time than one month to come to an equal understanding. Well I am getting off...

We chose to turn left on the street we normally turn right onto. We walked all the way to the end of the street and ended up at this house with a drawing of a crocodile on the side of it. Ministry in Chichi

We have been in Chichicastenago for almost three weeks now.  We have been involved in several different ministry opportunities.  Here is an overview of ministry so far.. We are teaching English at two schools.  We teach at the older school (basically their high school) in the morning and the younger elementary school in the afternoons.  The older school was pretty difficult at first and we were all pretty frustrated because we had 1 hour 20 minute classes and the teacher had no lesson plans or any kind of outline for us.  After two days of classes we decided to...

God’s miracle right in front of me

So yes it is true I have failed pretty miserably when it comes top updating my blog or any of my social media platforms. I wish I could say that I had an amazing reason why I have been absent but alas I do not. As I have finally settled into this new style of living I can say that each week there will be a new blog post updating you all lovely people on my misadventures across the ocean. It took awhile to get fully adjusted but I feel like I am home in the city that I am staying with and surrounded by family with the ones that I am living with. After a slightly rocky start I have come to...
