A look into our month so far:
We arrived in Guatemala July 6 and have gotten settled into our home for the month. In the afternoons on Monday through Friday, we work in shifts at the local school- teaching them English and helping them learn a bible verse (Joshua 1:9). Our other ministry includes: prayer walks, picking up trash around the city, college nights where we worship and share a devotion or testimony, police and hospital ministry where we go to the local hospital and hand out hot chocolate to people waiting on family members inside the hospital, and soccer ministry. On our recent off day, we were able to travel to Lake Atitlan where we took a boat ride to different villages and saw each of their special trades. (Catalina-speciality in weaving; San Antonio- specialty in ceramics). Our teams are consistently seeking the Lords direction for us while we are hear and are wanting to see Him move.
