Hello!! I cannot believe we are already 6 days into our time in Kampong Cham, Cambodia. I have learned so much about my teammates, my self, Cambodian culture, and the wonderful people of Cambodia. We are serving at an orphanage in a village. I love the simplicity of village life. Mornings are slow and peaceful. My team and I eat breakfast together and then we complete whatever projects the orphanage needs done. Hey y’all we made it to Kampong Cham New Hope for Orphans Orhphanage late last night!! We are overhwhelemed by the hospitality and welcome we received from our host family and the Villagers. We expected to serve them and they are going out of their way to take thoughtful care of us!!  Today we got to tour the orphanage and the church, as well as a little bit of the village and the public school. Our favorite welcomer was Chaiya who handed out kisses like the kids hand out flowers. Her home is decorated with pictures of past visitors and was over ecstatic to take one with us with...

“Called by God.” This phrase is used by so many people, but what does it sound like? Well I can’t speak for most people but I can take a shot on what my exuberance has been about. WE MADE IT!!!!!!   We are so excited to have landed in Thailand! The team did awesome during the long travel days and still in high spirits and excited!
