Time for Africa!

We are so excited to announce our Africa team has arrived safely at their ministry home in Zambia! They are currently unpacking and getting settled in to their new home for the month.  They will spend the coming days receiving a cultural briefing from their host, fighting off jet-lag, and getting an idea of what life will look like for this next month!   Keep following the blog for future updates from the team!   – The Passport Department

We made it to INDIA!!!

India and Nepal team 1 and 2 made it safely to Hyderabad, India! This is the best photo we have for now but we will post more soon. All 22 people arrived safely as did all the luggage! Praise Jesus, Thank you Lord!! It was a very smooth travel day(s) and everyone stayed in good spirits despite little sleep and several traveling “firsts.” We couldn’t be more proud and excited for this awesome team of world changers!  We are currently all fighting jet lag, but once we get some sleep our adventures begin! Departing to Serve: “God, Why Me?”

Let’s start at the beginning: Training Camp. “Uplifting” is the only word I really can use describe it. It went by so fast. I met what I believe will be some of my closest friends throughout life. All in just four short days. Crazy.   When Training Camp began I wasn’t sure what I was doing. More Than Just A Camp

I have always dreamt of doing mission work and serving God, but I never was bold enough to take that leap of faith and do it. When I stumbled upon Adventures in Missions, tears just kept streaming. This happened not only because I was overwhelmed by happiness and realizing I finally found something real, but also because I was so scared to jump out of my comfort zone.
