In the beginning…

Hello everyone, I am currently writing to you from inside my cocoon (my bug net) in Livingston, Zambia. My team and I arrived here about two days ago. We came from training camp where we were taught about how to handle life on the field, our identity in Christ, how to minister to people, and what true christian community looks like. Journey Up the Mountain

Today was our off first off day in Guatemala, so we decided to take a took took as far as it would go up the mountain outside of Chichi and then hike the rest of the way up. Along the way, we met two kids that came running up the mountain from their house to see us. They were so excited to see us and talk to us, and they told us that their family owned an apple farm on the side of the mountain. Hello friends! Welcome to my first blog. It is currently the end of week 1 of my three month stay in Guatemala. For the first month, we are staying in a town called Chichicastenango. It’s a beautiful little mountain town that is rich in Mayan culture. We flew into Guatemala City on Monday, January 30. From there we had a four hour drive to Chichi. Have You Ever Seen The Wonder?

Y’all! We made it to our new home for the next month about 5 days ago. I cannot express in words how stoked I am for this next season of my life.
