Spiritual Warfare

Spiritual warfare is generally defined as the rebellion of Satan and his angels against God, and the means he uses to do so. For whatever reason, darkness in our minds is rarely recognized as warfare in day to day life in the States. The human battle against Satan is disguised more as materialism, pride, common anxiety, etc. There is no doubt that Satan works just as hard to cause weakness in America, but the ways he chooses to go about this simply match the American heart.  My first night in India, my team decided to go to bed around 7 pm local time. We had been fighting jetlag around...

India, we have arrived!

Doh Ma from India! Our team made it safe and sound to our ministry sight yesterday mid afternoon. The team is doing great and we are so excited to serve here this month. The hosts here are wonderful and God is already doing A LOT around us. We are excited to just jump right in the river and serve, too! I am so impressed and humbled by this team. They are so intentional and passionate, as well as ready to go. We’ve spent the last day and a half meeting with our hosts to talk about the ministry/ how it was founded, going on a hike to a prayer mountain near by, praying for people at a...

We Made it to Guatemala

Hello from Guatemala! We arrived safely in Guatemala City on July 6th! We are staying at a YWAM base and doing ministry with them. Today, we went to church at a church called Access Church, and it’s a “missionary” church. After church they had baptisms and one of our team members was baptized and asked the team leaders to baptize her. It was so powerful! This week we will have orientation and start to do ministry! We are so excited to be here and are so excited to see what the Lord has in store for this month!
