The Faces of Love

Today marks my last day in Cambodia. This past year I have been spending endless amounts of prayer time asking myself a few questions in preparation for this trip, what exactly is love? What does my God’s love look like? What does love in ministry look like? This month Love has had many faces. Love in ministry has been helping villagers pick rice. It’s been going into random strangers houses and playing charades to overcome the language barrier, only to end up awkwardly sitting there(still loving every second of it). Meet Alfred

Alfred has been working at the elderly home in Maramba for 3 years. Finding Heart and Home: Experiencing Cambodia

At night I wander out into the middle of the dirt driveway, also known as the soccer field, and I focus my gaze above me on the starry night sky. It is not the most breath-taking scene I have gazed upon, yet it is beautiful and close to my heart anyway. I am in a small Cambodian town yet at night I gaze upon the same stars that my friends and family across the world. Every night I find my friend in the sky, Orion, who connects me to my two best friends in the world. In that moment I share with them the piece of my heart that has been stole by this Cambodian town and the precious children...
