A bucket shower is simple; you take a bucket and shower. It is a lot harder than you think it would be actually. You take a five gallon bucket and fill it up with the water hose, then you use the cup in the bucket to wash everything (hint: you don’t really get that clean from it). It makes you smell clean and look somewhat clean but you aren’t actually clean. That is how sin is, you look clean but on the inside you aren’t really clean.
Some of our sins only we see. . .so we think. God sees everything. He knows every sin we have ever committed. We walk around acting like we have taken a bucket shower. We are clean enough to get by but we really need a long hot shower and plenty of scrub pads to get rid of the stuff only us and God can see. The blood of the lamb is the same way. We must have a nice long bath in it to fully be in presence of the Great I Am.

Jesus said take up your cross daily and follow Him. He didn’t say once in a lifetime. No. He said everyday. We must learn to fully accept our flaws and how we use them to glorify Him.
