The Peace of God

I’ve had this strange peace about this mission trip that I couldn’t fully understand. I haven’t been overly stressed about packing, diseases, bugs, or even the fact that I still don’t know down specific details about what we will be doing or how we will be living. I wasn’t even entirely sure about what country we were starting in until I got to Atlanta for training. (For those of you that know me you know how crazy this is for me!) Made It To Cambodia!!

Here we go! After 21 hours of flying time and about 24 more hours spent waiting in airports, myself, my team of 6 and another team made it to Cambodia!     It didn’t take long for me to notice that Cambodian locals are extremely friendly. Within 15 minutes I had two people approach me to chat. Exchanging smiles seems to be a regular thing and taking tuk tuks (makeshift motorcycle cabs) looks like they’ll be an adventure every time I hop on.    While praying on the plane I felt like this month would be a month of sacrifice.
