Today was my favorite Zambian day. We had our last day of school ministry. It was uneventful for me, but seeing love grow and God shine through my teammates was moving. I am going to describe all my feelings as if I were still in that moment right now. Tyler and I have spent countless hours preparing posters per request of our 4th grade class’ teacher. Here’s a snapshot of what life has looked like these past few days from your team leaders… -Bucket showers, which consist of a pitcher of water which you poor on your head and hope for the best. -Hand washing clothes. -Teaching at a local school in the mornings with around 70 kids in your class. -Being a human jungle gym and all the kids literally hanging on you. -Cooking for ourselves. -Unexpected power loss which results in star gazing. -Dance parties while wearing your head lamps. -Soccer ministry every afternoon, providing a safe outlet for the kids in the community....
