Fear. It will save us.

Do you ever have a fear of something that is so great, when you see it, you can’t help but shake in fear? That fear has a power over you that is so great that some might say it consumes you. All you do is think about that fear, you spend your life avoiding that fear but at what cost? What great things out there are you missing because of that fear? We have been given the challenge to read Proverbs this week. It talks about wisdom and fools. The fools are the ones who think they are wise because they don’t have any fears, but they are wrong. I’m Ready to Dance Again

For me, getting over my insecurities is like climbing a steep, muddy mountain. My legs get tired after a while, my calves burn, and I seem to be stuck in the ruts of the sticky earth. But I keep climbing, hoping that eventually I’ll get a glimpse of the top and know the beauty that’s just at my fingertips. While in India, we’ve been learning a lot about what God wants for us individually, but most importantly–that we’re chosen. That God chose us for this trip. For this team. For this city. Laughing with My Father

Greetings friends and family! “Grace to you and peace from God our Father and Lord Jesus Christ.” (2Corinthians 1:2) I know in my previous blog I mentioned how I was struggling with being homesick, but it was cool to see how God was working through it. As our time here in India is ending I’ve been questioning why God wanted me here. Now don’t get me wrong I’ve enjoyed my time here in India immensely. Yet I’ve still wondered why God called me here. What did he still have to teach me in these few days we had left? Last Sunday I wasn’t feeling well so I stayed back when the rest of the team went out to church that day. It was during this time that I was finally still. For those that don’t know me-I am always busy, I am never still. So when my team had left and I was at our house by myself, I did not have...

Universally Contagious

I knew there would be a language barrier when I came to another country. I knew that at times it would be hard to communicate.I knew that I wouldn’t always be able to understand. I just didn’t know it would be this hard. Tuesday morning my ministry team attended a medical camp. A medical camp consists of doctors and nurses going to a venue at an outside village where they give free medical attention, diagnosis and medicine, all sponsored by the local hospital that partners with Bibles For the World. My ministry team traveled with the medical team where one of us helped with...
