Wow…that’s all I know how to say. I’m blown away by all that I am taking in, it’s hard to comprehend all that has passed these past few days. Time here is irrelevant and has a strange way of passing. Days and weeks fly by, and take years to pass at the same time. Each day brings its own adventure, you just have to know how to look. Whether teaching art and English to the local children, getting beat in soccer, smothering houses in blue paint, or leaping from chicken buses, our days are filled with life and experiences. I continued to be left in shock and awe by what the holy spirit is doing in my life and the journey we are on as a group. Each day I am challenged to hear his voice and to follow his lead.

The challenges here are numerous and day to day, but it’s all about how you face them. One can always give up in the face of struggle, but most often it’s when you embrace challenges and difficulties that they effect you in the most positive of ways. I see each hardship as an adventure, a story, a journey of the spirit. In this way I’m giving my heart up to Abba, and letting go of my doubts, dying to self, and seeking intimacy and new life in the path He has set for me.
