Made It To Cambodia!!

Here we go! After 21 hours of flying time and about 24 more hours spent waiting in airports, myself, my team of 6 and another team made it to Cambodia!

It didn’t take long for me to notice that Cambodian locals are extremely friendly. Within 15 minutes I had two people approach me to chat. Exchanging smiles seems to be a regular thing and taking tuk tuks (makeshift motorcycle cabs) looks like they’ll be an adventure every time I hop on.

While praying on the plane I felt like this month would be a month of sacrifice. We are going to be working at an orphanage in the region of Kampong Thom and know that any type of sacrifice for these children will absolutely be worth it!

I’m extremely excited to get to work, build relationships with the children and deepen the relationships within the team as well.

A prayer request I feel the need to share is for the participants parents. This experience can potentially be as eye opening for them as it is for us here. We’re all believing for big things within ourselves, everyone at the ministry site and the parents too.

I have a feeling it’s going to be an amazing month!!
