After 3 flights and 60 hours of travel (that was surprisingly smooth!) we have arrived at our destination in Zambia! We were even able to see 2 other countries in the process. We were pretty excited about that! Our contact picked us up promptly after we landed and even had lunch ready for us (praise!). We didn’t have time to settle in as we dove right into our month of ministry. We only had 5 minutes upon arrival to drop our stuff off and eat before we jumped into ministry. Most of the team piled into the back of the truck and went to help out with a children’s camp taking place. Others stayed behind and went to the market so that the whole team would have food when they got back.
Everyone is super excited to finally be here. Our hosts Sanderson and Lweendo seem wonderful and will take good care of us this month. We can’t wait for what’s in store! We’ll keep youposted.
