Team Panama-Costa Rica, now affectionately known as THE SNACK SQUAD (we eat A LOT…), has made it safely to our ministry site in Chiriqui, Panama. After 2 long travel days consisting of two airplane rides, a night in a hostel in San Jose, and a 7 hour bus ride across 2 countries, we are getting settled into our new home at YWAM Chiriqui.
Major PRAISE: all travel days went off without a hitch- the Lord’s favour and protection was definitely on this team, which we are so grateful for.
For the next month we will be partnering with the YWAM base here, doing a variety of ministries such as construction, cleaning, and beautification projects, and serving the community in nursing homes, a boys home, and through sports.
Our entire team is together now, with both leaders, and we are all excited to serve and love the people God places in our paths here. The team has already been doing a great job of being friendly and building relationships with the people who live and work at the YWAM base, our neighbors, and even strangers we met in town.

PRAYER REQUESTS
Pray for love and unity among the team “And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” (Colossians 3:14)
Pray for hearts that are willing to serve in any way possible “Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.” (Colossians 3:23)
Pray for discomfort, which leads to growth “Until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” (Ephesians 4:13-16).
