So It’s actually cold here…
This month our team is doing ministry in the mountain sureounded town of Cajamarca, PERU. After 2 flights, A night in Lima and an 17 1/2 hr bus ride we arrived and it’s the most beautiful place you could imagine. Cajamarca is quiet yet colorful. Full of dirt roads, amazing people and delicious foods. One of our favorite hangout spots this month is our rooftop Where you can watch the sunset and have meaningful conversation about our SAVIOR.
We are working with Monte Zion church this month. Pastor Helmer is the overseerer and his congrlegation makes up our community ranging from our amazing cook and host, mama FILO, our friend and translator Gina, and our welcomer and occasional driver Ivan. Each day we are served 3 amazing Peruvian meals, lunch being the biggest as it is their culture, with rice, meats, fruits and vegetables.
Our ministry consists of loving on children, sharing our testimonies, singing and preaching in the church. Currently we are minutes away from loading in a couple trucks and heading into the mountains further.. There we will visit la lagoona, and Matara, both small villages where there are only a few believers, and our ministry is to share the Gospel with those who do not BELIEVE. Please pray for our team. Pray for restful nights and a fervent zeal in the LORD.
