After crazy amount of travel, the smaller Southeast Asia team has arrived safely to their host where we were greeted by a slight power outage and delicious dinner waiting for us on the table.
We began our day by heading to the bus terminal at 4:30am (after arriving to the hostel around 11pm). We had said our goodbyes to the other team the night before, so we were all ready to go.
At the bus terminal, we bought some yummy snacks for the ride and even found real DONUTS! Blessings upon blessings. What we thought was supposed to be an 11 hour drive turned into 15 hours. So, it was a very long day, and it even included a free mystery lunch where we had no clue what we were eating but decided that most of it was good, and especially spicy.
Each member of the team were such troopers, keeping a positive attitude despite unpredictable circumstances. And after 3 days of travel, it is nice to stay in one spot for awhile.
Today, the girls are enjoying some nice downtime to adjust to the jetlag, explore the city a bit, and of course get some laundry done because the smells are starting to become real, just saying.
Thank you for praying!
