So, if you are reading this, I’m alive and thriving just to let you know. As of yesterday, I have been in Costa Rica for two week. Crazy, I know. I survived the mountains, I have survived the jungle, and now I am residing in the city. But let me tell you none of this is what I expected. God has once again taken everything that I thought Costa Rica was going to be and fully blown my mind.
While I had gone into the trip thinking that I would spend all my time in the city doing kids ministry, that is not what I was really here to do. Within the short span of two weeks, God has opened up my eyes to areas of ministry that I didn’t even know existed. God took me well beyond my borders, both figuratively and literaly, and really expanded my mindset: for the better.
