Since part one of this blog, my team and I have accomplished so much here in Cambodia. We finished the construction projects we set out to conquer when we arrived, we successfully taught English classes, and showed so many in this community the love and hope of Jesus. From praying over Buddhist temples to passing cold water out to construction workers, we followed wherever the Lord led.
We were able to meet not only spiritual needs, but also physical ones. Sometimes that looked like buying a pair of shoes for someone, or praying for pain to be cast out in Jesus’ name. Other times it was purchasing groceries for a family or giving all the kids new bikes so they have a way to get to school.
I have seen people come to know Jesus’ saving grace, and how that changes their whole attitude. I have seen kids with the most heartbreaking past worship God with complete and total abandon. Through it all, smiles and tears, Jesus was there.
As we get ready to head to Thailand, we are all sad about leaving these kids we have poured so much into. I know we have loved them well, and I pray we have impacted each one. I am so thankful for the lessons I have learned here, and all the people I was blessed enough to meet.
