There’s a reason why you’re here on this Earth. God handpicked you to be here in and read this. We are all hand-picked by God. He molded us and shaped us. He knew us by name and he made us in his own image. 

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah29:11 NIV)

We all have a problem with “ I want “ or “I did this” but in reality it was God. He is the Potter.  He is the molder. He is our Master He is Our God. When you see those mountain or “ so-called Hills “ that was all him and the Fact that he made that with just his voice is unbelievable. 

I’m not just half Mexican little girl that’s from Gainesville Ga. I AM A WOMAN OF GOD AND HE IS A MAN OF GOD. WE ARE ALL MAN AND WOMAN OF GOD. He is here. He’s going to fill you up with His Word and then We are going out and claim More life in the name of Jesus Christ.

Who are we as Sons and Daughter of Jesus Christ?  What are we doing here? Why is that some people can worship false gods/Idols so heavily and we can’t even say thank you for the food we eat or for the day He Gave us. Reasons, why we don’t build our relationship with God, is Because of those false gods and idols.

A couple of weeks ago They sacrifice Goats and other Animals. My Team and I we were just minding our own business and then we hear some goats crying or getting killed “mahhh”. They give up everything to go to the temple and pray for hours. Rain, snow, hot, cold weather they still go. They walk miles to get there. And that’s still not enough. They have to rings bells for their gods/idols to wake up. We don’t! Our Powerful God is already awake. He already knows what we need. He knows everything but is it because of that we just don’t put the effort to run after him? You may say that I do not worship other gods or idols but yes we are all of us are. We are addicted to our phones, our jobs, our friends, food or chocolates, Bands/ people. Those are other idols and we worship them. 

Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.”

“Do not make any idols.”

“So then, about eating food sacrificed to idols: We know that “An idol is nothing at all in the world” and that “There is no God but one.” For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”), yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.”

“For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees, and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess. But if your heart turns away and you are not obedient, and if you are drawn away to bow down to other gods and worship them, I declare to you this day that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess.”

God Tells us not to follow others idols or make them. He says it pretty clearly. Why is it that we do it still? God knows what idols you follow but do you? Why is that as Children of God we make those false idols and we chase them? I will say the idols I cling on to. It’s my phone. I literally say I cannot use the restroom without it. HOW! does it help me clean myself? NO.  Does it wash my hands for me? NO. What use it? PRETTY MUCH NOTHING another of my idols is FOOD. No matter how tired I am I’ll make sure I eat something or look around to find it. I can come from ministry all tired and then someone says do you wanna go to Sam’s Cafe? Uhh Yes of course. Or I can be in my quiet time with the Lord and someone says let’s go eat? And I’ll tell God you understand that I’m very hungry I’ll come back later to talk. That’s not how I’m supposed to be of course I’m not gonna starve but I can wait 20 more minutes so he can stop talking and not just cut him off. Does Food love me? Does it bless me? Will it bring me to heaven? No, no, no. So why do I follow it? It’s only good for a couple of minutes then it’s Gone. Yet, God, He’s there forever. He loves me. He blesses me with his presence. So What are your Idols? Take a minute to the think? Now that you thought of that How will you overcome it? 

“for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.”
