Turn and Look at my Creation

Travel day to the next part of our journey was interesting. We traveled in two trucks. One with our stuff and half of the team and one with food and live chickens and the other half of the team. It took almost all day to get to the next place. What in the world to do on this journey than look at His beauty?! The trees, the mountains, the sky, the people of each passing village, the animals and the flowers!

I say all of that because I want you to know that I saw many things. Things that I can’t describe! But the one thing I want to describe is the flowers! I can’t even begin to tell you that God is good! His beautiful creations will blow your mind.

As we kept traveling I noticed one particular flower. It was one that I’ve never seen before. Imagine that the middle of the flower is a deep royal purple and the outside is a deep royal blue. ( close your eyes to imagine please! )

It was beautiful, perfect even. I couldn’t take a picture of it and still don’t have a picture of it and I never saw it again! I couldn’t find it again in any village. I looked everywhere! Every village I went to!

One day I was standing in the back of the truck to go to the top of a mountain for a school visit. I looked all over the mountain edge. Every flower I wished and hoped it was the flower, my flower!

Then God clearly spoke to me and said

” Stop looking for that flower and turn around and look at what I created for you!”

I literally turned around at the moment when the grass and trees were gone and all I could see was mountains for miles and miles. It was like a painting. Beautifully detailed!

At that moment I stopped looking for what I wanted and started to see everything that is His. I stopped thinking my thoughts and my wishes and only thought of Him and only wished his wishes!

I challenge you to stop looking for your “flower” and look at His “mountains”.
It will truly make you smile!

Dear Lord,
Come into my mind and heart and use me for your will and not mine! Take me and use me Lord. Take my flowers and make them your mountains. Open my eyes for your eyes! You are the greatest artist and allow me to see your works!
Amen!
