The game of volleyball! ??

Being in India for about two weeks I’ve come to enjoy the game of volleyball . The team and I go every day to the hostel and play with the college students! They are mainly guys and our team is mainly girls, so playing together is quite hilarious/difficult to watch.

The Indian guys will split up and the American girls will also pick a side, then we will play about 6 games. Learning to play with everyone and the skills that are available was difficult. The guys had to play at the girls level and it got frustrating at times but they kept playing! And then the girls had to get over that they may not hit the ball in a game but we kept coming back for more!

At the end of the week we came to love the game and the people that were willing to play with!

I want to share this story to give an example of how Jesus was!

He honestly made Himself nothing to show everyone that He gave all of the glory to God! He became like the people to help us understand His greatness.

He could have put Himself on a pedestal and taught us like that, but would you listen to someone like that? Or would you listen to someone that was more like you?

Be like Jesus! Level yourself with others so the understanding is clear. Get your shoes dirty!
