Talamanca

Talamanca, you were a place where I was full of love and life. I did not know I needed you but I did. Talamanca, you were a place where your people and I were much alike. We provided hope for each other and tell stories of gods faithfulness. Talamanca my heart is in your jungles, in the noises, in the wild animals, in the sticky rains, in your beauty and wonder. You were a place where God was moving.

Talamanca, you were a place where I was challenged. When we worked a day as if local farmers do. Carrying racks of bananas down mountainsides and being knee deep in mud.

That was probably one of the hardest things I’ve done in my life. You were humbling and encouraging. You gave me hope and renewal and a change of perspectiv.

Talamanca you were a place god blessed me with, and I will forever be grateful for it.
